While the Bauer 950 Senior Goalie Mask may bethe second price point mask, it’s packed full of impressive features like the same Poron liner as the 960, and a tough PowerCore shell making it capable to perform at any level.
Shell Similar to what was seen on the NME IX, the 950 uses a PowerCore composite shell construction that keeps the mask lightweight while still offering good protection.
Liner The 950 uses a padding setup very similar to its older brother, the 960. It features what Bauer calls their AirFlow Liner which is a full Poron XRD cheeks and crown with IX foam in the jaw and backplate. The backplate uses a Poron occipital lock which helps the mask wrap around the head better making it more comfortable and secure on the head.
Cage The 950 cage utilizes a strong new enhanced puck view wire to suit more goalies sight-lines providing better vision on the ice when compared to previous profile masks.

Chin Cup The Bauer 950 uses a new elite style chin cup with an elastic stretch strap in order for it to be more comfortable during play. It features a Poron XRD insert which provides increased comfort over other options on the market.
Sweatband The sweatband of the 950 mask is made of Bauer’s Thermocore material designed to wick away sweat, keeping you cool throughout the ice time.
Certification With the CSA Straight bar cage, the 950 provides both HECC (5 Year expiry) and CSA certification. The mask is suitable for play in both Canada and the USA in the current configuration.
Mask Bag The 950 comes with a durable vented padded mask bag designed to protect your mask and keep it scratch free while allowing it to dry out between ice times.
Sizes & Colors The Bauer 950 Goalie Mask is available in a White colourway with Black Bauer logos. It features a new sizing system designed to fit more head shapes than the previous generation XPM. The Bauer 950 is available in senior only with Small, Medium and Large sizes.
